I’m Pretty Sure This Blanket Is the Secret to a Good Night’s Sleep

I’ll just come right out and say it: This is going to be a love letter to a blanket.
There are few things I appreciate quite like my Bearaby weighted blanket. In the four years since I’ve had one draped across my bed, I’ve been lucky to fall asleep quickly and wake up rested the next morning. I’m not someone who can fall asleep all that easily — oh, how I wish that trait was passed down from my five-seconds-and-I’m-out dad — so over the years, I’ve tried a few nocturnal best practices with varying degrees of success.
I got an oil diffuser that puffs lavender intermittently from my nightstand, and I’ve read sweeping novels before bed. I’ve purchased soft sheets and silk pillowcases, and made sure my room is consistently cool. I even banished my phone to the opposite wall of my bed, and kept it there until after I’ve washed my face the next day.
But the Bearaby blanket has outshone them all. As soon as I pull its knitted mass over me, I drift off to sleep in minutes. I rarely move throughout the night, and if I do wake up, it’s only briefly. Whenever I’m without it, I notice the difference. I’ve considered ways to bring it with me on vacation.

Bearaby recently unveiled a fresh palette full of summer-ready shades in its Tree Napper blanket, from a French blue and dark rose to a terracotta and light sage. And the best part? It’s made from natural eucalyptus fibers that keep sleepers comfortable throughout the night.
Clearly, I’m biased, but I think a night of sound sleep is one of life’s best things. Pick up your own Bearaby blanket here, and if you do, let me know what you think. I’m always up for deciphering even the most mysterious dreams, if you have those to share, too!
